1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Doxlo ("Doxlo", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the Doxlo service, including our Telegram bot, website at Doxlo.com, APIs, and all related products (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Doxlo.
• If you are between 13 and 17, you confirm you have parental or guardian consent.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your country of residence.
• You must not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws or previously suspended from Doxlo.

3. Your Account

3.1 Account Creation

Doxlo uses your Telegram account for authentication. No separate password is required. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Telegram account.

3.2 Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for all activities under your account.
• Do not share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.
• Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

3.3 One Account Per Person

Each person may maintain only one Doxlo account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse free tier limits, referral bonuses, or promotional offers is prohibited and may result in termination.

4. The Service

Doxlo provides AI-powered study tools including:

• Document summarization and formatted PDF generation
• Interactive mind maps from educational content
• Flashcards and quizzes for active recall
• Multilingual study assistance with colloquial dialect support
• Achievement certificates upon reaching performance milestones

4.1 Service Evolution

We continuously improve Doxlo. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. Material changes affecting paid plans will be announced at least 30 days in advance.

4.2 Availability

We target 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Uses

Doxlo is designed for legitimate educational purposes:

• Personal study and learning
• Preparing for exams and assignments
• Creating study materials from your own content
• Processing content you have the right to use (own work, public domain, properly licensed)

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to process (copyrighted textbooks without permission, others' private documents, confidential materials)
• Use Doxlo to cheat on exams, assignments, or tests where AI assistance is prohibited
• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or infringes others' rights
• Create malware, phishing content, or instructions for illegal activities
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise extract the underlying code, models, or data
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service except through our official APIs (if available)
• Circumvent rate limits, paywalls, access controls, or security measures
• Resell, redistribute, or white-label the Service without written permission
• Use the Service to train competing AI models or build competing products
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or the rights of any third party

6. Content Ownership

6.1 Your Content

You retain full ownership of any content you upload to Doxlo ("Your Content"). By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. This license ends when Your Content is deleted from our systems.

6.2 Generated Outputs

Study materials generated by Doxlo based on Your Content (summaries, flashcards, mind maps, quizzes) areyours to use for personal educational purposes. You may share them, print them, and use them as study aids.

6.3 Doxlo's Property

The Service itself — including software, design, logos, brand elements, and templates — is the exclusive property of Doxlo and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Plans, Pricing, and Payments

7.1 Free Trial

New users can try Doxlo with a small free allowance of credits (“Fakkat”) so they can test the Service before purchasing.

7.2 Prepaid Credit Packages

Doxlo operates on a prepaid credit (Fakkat) model. You purchase a one-time package of Fakkat (e.g. Starter, Pro, or Lifetime) and consume them as you use the Service. One PDF page (or its equivalent) typically equals one Fakka. Pricing is displayed in USD and may include applicable taxes.

7.3 No Subscriptions, No Auto-Renewal

We do not offer recurring subscriptions and we do not store your credit-card on file. Once your Fakkat are consumed, you may purchase a new package whenever you choose. The Lifetime package is a single one-time payment and does not auto-renew.

7.4 Credit Expiration

Purchased Fakkat have no expiration date. They remain in your account until used. Promotional or referral Fakkat may have specific expiration windows, which will be clearly disclosed at the time of issuance.

7.5 Refund Policy

• 7-day satisfaction guarantee: If a technical issue prevented you from using the Service, contact us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund of unused Fakkat.
• Used Fakkat are non-refundable.
• The Lifetime package is refundable within 7 days of purchase only if it has not been used.
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.
• Disputed charges must be reported within 60 days of the charge.

7.6 Price Changes

We may change package pricing at any time. Existing balances of Fakkat already purchased are unaffected by price changes.

7.7 Payment Processors

Payments are handled by third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay). We never store your full card details on our servers.

8. Referral Program

Our referral program rewards users who invite others to Doxlo with bonus Fakkat (credits):

• The inviter earns bonus Fakkat when an invited user activates the bot for the first time.
• The inviter earns additional bonus Fakkat when an invited user purchases any Fakkat package.
• The invited user also receives a welcome bonus when they join through a referral link.
• Rewards are credited automatically within 48 hours of qualifying actions.
• Self-referrals, fraudulent referrals, fake accounts, and automated sign-ups are prohibited and may result in forfeiture of all rewards and account termination.
• Bonus Fakkat have no cash value and are non-transferable.
• We reserve the right to modify or end the referral program with notice.

9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Doxlo uses artificial intelligence to generate study materials. While we strive for high accuracy, AI outputs may contain:

• Factual errors or outdated information
• Misinterpretations of your source material
• Omissions of important details
• Biases reflected in training data

You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI-generated content before relying on it for exams, assignments, or any important decisions. Doxlo is a study aid, not a substitute for textbooks, teachers, or authoritative sources.

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You may stop using Doxlo at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, send a request to [email protected].

10.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, if:

• You breach these Terms
• You engage in fraud, abuse, or harmful behavior
• Required by law or court order
• We discontinue the Service (with 30 days' notice when possible)

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Paid subscribers terminated for breach are not entitled to refunds. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability, dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated content

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. We do not guarantee academic results, exam performance, or any specific educational outcomes.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Doxlo AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Loss or damage arising from academic penalties related to your use of the Service
• Damages from third-party services we rely on (Telegram, AI providers, payment processors)

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) US $100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 monthspreceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doxlo, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any rights of another party, or (d) your uploaded content.

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a formal dispute, please contact us at [email protected]. We will work in good faith to resolve your concern within 30 days.

14.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict of law principles. For users in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply.

14.3 Jurisdiction

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Cairo, Egypt, except where local consumer protection laws require otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via in-bot message and a notice on Doxlo.com at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Miscellaneous

• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of such right or provision.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them to any affiliate or successor.
• Entire agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Doxlo regarding the Service.
• Force majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
